Brian Cookson, C.A.

As President of RDP, Brian has been assisting a wide variety of companies obtain government assistance for over 20 years. Brian has been practicing exclusively in this area since 1987. Brian has lectured and written extensively on a wide variety of subjects pertaining to government assistance including SR&ED, and has presented seminars to industry groups and tax conferences. Brian is a chartered accountant and worked with Ernst & Young in their high-tech services group from 1982 to 1987. Brian has reviewed SR&ED claims for small to large corporations for over 15 years and currently assists over 200 companies per year with their SR&ED claims. He has participated in workshops, seminars and conferences with Canada Revenue Agency ("CRA") and industry on SR&ED matters.

Arne Luik C.A.

As Vice President of RDP, Arne has focussed his efforts on SR&ED tax credits exclusively since 1999. Arne is a chartered accountant and MBA and has extensive experience in the high-tech industry with IBM as a Systems Engineering Representative, and National Systems Testing Laboratories as a Technical Representative. Arne has written and edited several articles on SR&ED, government assistance and financing.

Arne has also assisted companies with respect to corporate finance, tax matters and strategic planning.

Andrea McPhail

Andrea graduated with a B.Sc.Hons. in Astronomy & Astrophysics from the University of Toronto in 2004. At U of T she participated in research studies in the field of astronomy and physics. She also holds a minor in Biology. Prior to joining RDP, Andrea held a project management position in the growing field of online interactive. Her background with web-based interactive software development facilitates understanding of a variety of technologies resulting in technically comprehensive submissions. Specializing in the software development field, Andrea has successfully submitted and defended hundreds of SR&ED claims. In addition, she has prepared claims in the areas of manufacturing, hardware design, food, tool and die, agriculture, biomedical devices, electrical devices, and textiles.

Chris Bodnar

Chris Bodnar is completing his final requirements for the Schulich MBA, with the expectation of graduating in December 2009. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce from U of T, with a Specialist in Economics and minor in History. Chris has been working for RDP Associates Inc, for the past five years and currently holds the position of Director of Marketing and Partnerships. Chris’ responsibilities include promoting his firm, forming relationships and presenting to key representatives of prospective clients.
