Phase I
- Determine eligible R&D projects over the claim period.
- Carry out high level review of documentation to support R&D tax credit claims.
- Carry out high level review of eligible R&D costs which relate to R&D projects/activities.
- Estimate Baseline Calculations.
- Prepare report outlining benefit of R&D claim including estimated R&D tax credits/savings.
Phase II
- Prepare study outlining eligible R&D projects and relate to R&D activities qualifying IRS criteria and tests.
- Prepare detailed R&D costs summary outlining eligible R&D costs and allocate costs to eligible projects/activities.
- Prepare Baseline Calculations.
- Review documentation to support the claim.
Phase III
- Review R&D claim with client.
- File claim with IRS and prepare all necessary tax schedules.
- Assemble all detailed documentation to support the claim.
Phase IV
- Assist client on any IRS audit or query of the R&D tax credit claim.
