The Pandemic Response Challenge Program: National Research Council of Canada
- Purpose is to address challenges that require further R&D for solutions to meet Covid-19 related needs.

NGen Supercluster
Purpose is to help Canadian manufacturers* meet critical shortages and have an immediate impact in the fight against COVID-19.

- Must be a member to receive up to $5M with 100% coverage of eligible costs from April-June 30*
- If project goes on beyond June 30th, 2020, members can receive up to 50% coverage.

- Focused on protecting health and safety of Canadians and the economy through the development of digital technologies
- Selected projects can be reimbursed 50%-100% of total project costs

Innovative Solutions Canada
Low-cost Sensor System for Covid-19
- A low cost system (unit cost <$25) that can continuously measure temperature, peripheral capillary oxygen saturation, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and transmit this information wirelessly to a base station for COVID-19 patient monitoring in locales including ERs, general wards, and homes.

Point of Care & Home Diagnostic Kit
- A solution that will diagnose individuals affected by COVID-19 within 3 days using a sample, with a rapid single-use home testing kit analogous to a home pregnancy test.

Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF)
New large-scale projects will be prioritized to deliver direct support to Canadian companies.
- Funding has been issued to BlueDot (developed an early warning technology for infectious diseases) and AbCellera (innovator in antibody discovery for therapeutics, and immune profiling for vaccine research).
NSERC Alliance
Encourage collaborations between academic researchers and the public and not-for-profit sectors, and industry to address pandemic-related research and technical challenges

- Suspended funding for travel, all travel related costs are ineligible for funding
- Eligible activities include: Marketing, Interpretation services, IP Protection, Consulting
- Covers 75% of Marketing Costs
- For previously approved projects
- The usual claim guidelines will continue to apply to non-refundable eligible costs incurred after the project was approved.
- Funding for cancelled events can be reallocate among approved project categories
